Church congregations look to the worship team to usher them into the presence of God, to honor and praise Him, and to posture their hearts to receive and hear from Him, during worship itself and during the rest of the service. Pastors look to the worship team to set the stage for God to speak through them. From their experience in God’s presence, they too are postured to be vessels of the Holy Spirit.
Though the goal of our worship services is not to have seamless, over-produced spectacles, we do need our services to flow well. Why is this important? Good worship flow will keep congregants, including the pastors, focused on worshiping God throughout the service.
